With National Scotch Day on the 27th July, we wanted to share a number of new 2024 launches from award winning brands The Balvenie, Glenfiddich, and Fortnum & Mason.
The Balvenie
The Balvenie announces the launch of four new limited edition single cask expressions in its evolving Stories Range: A Collection of Curious Casks. The collection includes a 14-Year-Old American Bourbon Barrel and an 18-Year-Old French Pineau Cask available within the UK along with a global travel retail exclusive 11-Year-Old Hungarian Red Wine Cask and a 17-Year-Old New Spanish Oak Cask exclusively available to purchase at The Balvenie Distillery.
Nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Dufftown, Speyside, The Balvenie distillery has been handcrafting whisky for more than 125 years, notably the most handcrafted of single malts. Nowhere else can you find a distillery that grows its own barley, malts on its own traditional floor maltings and still employs a team of coopers to tend to the casks alongside a coppersmith to maintain the stills.
Glenfiddich
Glenfiddich, the World’s most awarded single malt Scotch whisky1, has added the indulgent Glenfiddich 14 Year Old Bourbon Barrel Reserve to its Flagship collection in the UK.
Founded in Dufftown, Scotland by William Grant and his family with a vision to create ‘The best dram in the valley’, Glenfiddich first flowed from the stills on Christmas Day, 1887. The family’s pioneering spirit has seen Glenfiddich excel for over a hundred and thirty years. In 1963 it started actively marketing outside of Scotland, creating the single malt category as it exists today.
Fortnum & Mason:
Fortnum & Mason, the renowned grocer of exceptional food and drink, proudly introduces the Fortnum's X Tamdhu Single Sherry Cask 2004 exclusive.
