Tesco Ireland Autumn Clubcard Statements Deliver Over €17 Million to Irish Households

Posted on: 14 Aug 2024

With the Autumn breeze moving in, almost 1 million Tesco Clubcard customers are receiving a helping hand with Back-to-School costs as their seasonal statements begin to arrive. This year, in the region of over €17 million worth of vouchers and coupons savings have been returned to Irish customers and can be redeemed in store, on the website or through the App.

Tesco Clubcard is one of the longest running supermarket loyalty schemes in Ireland; and Irish customers have proven to be avid users. In the first 180 days of the year, on average, three Tesco Clubcards are scanned every second in Irish stores during trading hours.

Customers are reminded to check their Tesco App, as vouchers dated August 2022 will expire at the end of August 2024, and the total value still unspent is €680,000! These vouchers can be used to bring down the cost of their weekly shop or get up to three times the value with Clubcard Reward Partners.

With Back-to-School just around the corner, there’s lots on offer. Stock up on stationery with half price on multipacks of pens, highlighters, markers and colouring sets, and help your children's creativity shine with glue sticks, erasers and rulers. Let the little ones fill up notepads and refill pads with brilliant ideas and keep organised with a variety of pencil cases to choose from, also all half price. Keep the kids hydrated with special prices on water bottles and make lunches fun with Bento Lunch Boxes.

When it comes to filling those lunch boxes, Tesco Ireland has lots of little helps! This week, there’s half price off Capri Sun multipacks, as well as on select cereal packs such as Weetabix, Kellogg’s Rice Krispies and Kellogg’s Coco Pops. There’s even more great half price offers that are perfect for snack time, with the Nature Valley range of bars, perfect to fuel the whole family. Keeping uniforms and sports kits clean and fresh is a breeze with 2 for €20 deals on Ariel All-In-One Pods and Fairy Non-Bio Pods. And after a busy week, family dinner is a no-brainer too, with half-price on the Tesco Irish Slow Cook Beef Joint.

Clubcard members collect points while shopping at Tesco, saving money on selected items and turning points into experiences the whole family can enjoy with exclusive deals across days out, restaurants, entertainment, travel and more. Points are converted into vouchers which can be exchanged for greater than their value. Clubcard Reward Partners include Tesco Mobile, Dublin Zoo, Milano, Disney+, ODEON Cinemas, Irish Ferries, Stena Line, Hotels.com, Royal Caribbean International, SSE Airtricity, Early Table and GoCar. Customers can also donate their vouchers to Tesco’s charity partner - Children’s Health Foundation.

Tesco Clubcard is free to join, and it takes two minutes to sign up via  www.tesco.ie/account/register/en-IE.
