David Murphy, Store Manager at Tesco Adamstown in West Dublin, took home the highly
coveted Store Manager of the Year at the company’s recent Annual Values Awards.
David, originally from Foxrock, was one of the big winners at the awards ceremony which took
place Castleknock Hotel in Dublin.
The awards which have been running for ten years, are voted for by Tesco colleagues
nationwide and recognise excellence amongst the retailer’s 13,000 strong workforce across 9
different categories including Colleague of the Year, Store Team of the Year, and the Unsung
hero award.
Nominated by his colleagues in Adamstown, David is recognised for his resilience and
excellent leaderships skills.
