Kerrygold Park, the flagship home of the Kerrygold brand, is delighted to announce its support of the Mitchelstown Community First Responder (CFR) Group through a new sponsorship.
The newly established group will provide members of the local community with immediate emergency support in the event of a 999/112 call being placed.
Made up of 18 volunteers from the local community, members of the Mitchelstown CFR group are first aid trained and equipped to respond to emergencies within an agreed radius. As members of the group live or work in the area where the emergency alarm is raised, they can respond in minutes and provide emergency measures and reassurance until the Ambulance Service arrives.
Kerrygold Park’s sponsorship of Mitchelstown CFR Group has helped facilitate access to essential equipment including Automated External Defibrillators, Responder Bags and training kits, ensuring the appropriate resources are available to assist the group in responding effectively to emergency events and providing additional training to new volunteers.

Since we first set out to establish this group, inspired by the great work of other first responder groups across the county, we have been met with fantastic support from all the community. Thanks to Kerrygold Park and the many businesses and locals in our community who have helped our fundraising journey, the Mitchelstown CFR Group is well-placed to make a profound and lasting difference in our community.”
