The Tree Council of Ireland, supported by SPAR, is encouraging primary school children across the country to take the pledge and plant a tree on SPAR National Tree Day this Thursday, 3rd October 2024.
The theme for this year is “Trees are Magic” to encourage primary school children around the country to learn about the amazing qualities of Ireland’s native trees. It encourages children, parents and teachers to connect directly with nature by planting one of the 2,000 free Hawthorn saplings available on www.treeday.ie.
