
Hot cross buns and Easter eggs combined will see the retailer spend almost €4 million with Irish suppliers this Easter, while also spending a further almost €700,000 on Irish Bord Bia Assured Easter lamb lines.
ALDI is also making its popular Too Good To Go ‘Surprise Bags’ available for reservation earlier than ever before this Easter. Customers will be able to reserve a bag via the Too Good To Go app as early as Monday 14th April, giving shoppers even more flexibility during the busy Easter week.
The ‘Surprise Bags’ cost just €3.99 each and contain at least €12 worth of food approaching its sell-by or use-by date.
Opening Hours
Over the Easter weekend, ALDI Ireland’s stores will be open until 10pm on Good Friday and Easter Saturday, so customers can pick up their last-minute Easter eggs, hot cross buns and all their Easter roast essentials.
All stores are to remain closed on Easter Sunday, but will reopen from 9am until 9pm on Easter Monday. Customers are advised to check details of their local store’s opening hours on ALDI’s website to avoid disappointment. Normal opening hours will resume on Tuesday 22nd April.
